I have not looked at this "discussion group" in over two years as it became filled with far too much rancour.

The most interesting thing I ever read in this "discussion group" was the information on

Kudos to the health unit for figuring out to give people numbers so they don't have to stand for hours to recieve the H1H1 vaccine. However I am getting tired of all the whining about waiting in line. We are so fortunate to live where we do. "OH woe is me, I have to wait and take time out of my ever so busy and important life to stand in line for 3 hours to receive a FREE and LIFE saving vaccine." Get over it already! In many countries they will not be so fortunate. In other countires they have to wait in line for hours for emergency food, blankets, water, medical care etc. on a regular basis. We are so spoiled. We are panicking over this when calm heads need to prevail. Yes it can be scary the thought of dying from H1N1, (when the majority of people won't by the way), but so is cancer, aids, traffic deaths, the regular seasonal flu that claim more lives. They do not make headlines anymore so they are not reported on the evening news, because it is commonplace, unfortunately. This is life. Enjoy the best of it and don't forget to thank the health care workers giving you your flu shot as they work overtime for hours on end and leave their families and kids at home so we can have a healthy comunity.

Finally....from the Heart and Stroke Foundation
wrote on their website(see websie at bottom)

A vegetarian diet
Vegetarian diets can provide all the nutrients you need at any age, as well as some additional health benefits. Vegetarian diets often have lower levels of total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol than many meat-based diets, and higher intakes of fibre, magnesium, potassium, folate and antioxidants such as vitamins C and E. Vegetarian diets may lead to lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol levels, healthier weight and less incidence of Type 2 diabetes, all of which can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

The Big Bad swine flu.
So Harper is spending 400 million dollars to create 50 million vaccines for the 30-something million Canadians.
But... in Canada to date there have been 78 deaths related to swine flu since the first being on May 8, 2009...
At this rate there may be almost 200 in 12 months....so what the heck are we being fed?
And... most of these people have had underlying medical conditions, or they died from something else while they had swine flu or was it as the symptoms are the same as regular flu?
In Canada approx 2500 people die each year from the regular flu...yes the regular flu that has been with us since I was born and before.
Hey... do I know or do you know anyone who has had the swine flu or do we know anyone who knows of anyone who had this BIG BAD H1N1 flu virus(swine flu)?
nobody
What a sham! believe it
